BIBA unveils line up for 2021 conference

The British Insurance Brokers’ Association has announced John Glen MP, Economic Secretary to the Treasury and City Minister, as its first keynote speaker, at its strengthening resilience themed annual conference.

The next speaker is author and columnist Steve Richards who also regularly presents Radio 4’s Week in Westminster.

The ‘Talking Resilience’ panel discussion will be facilitated by conference host Huw Evans and canvas views from BIBA’s deputy chair Laura High and its chieve executive Steve White.

Elizabeth Linder, who founded and led Facebook’s Europe, Middle East and Africa region Politics and Government division, will focus her presentation om ‘The Connected World’.

The speaker programme is complemented by a series of six topical seminars this year covering: the future of insurance broking; business interruption; mental health in a post-pandemic landscape; professional indemnity – a hard market; regulation, and equality diversity and inclusion.

Lindsay Campbell, BIBA conference director, said: “We are excited to bring you an amazing digital conference experience to ensure The BIBA Conference 2021 remains the must-attend insurance broking event.

“While we are sad not to be able to gather everyone in person this year, we are confident our inspiring keynote speakers, seminar sessions, plus of course, our fringe programme, will give attendees fabulous insight and tangible learnings to take back to their businesses.”
