Sedgwick reshuffles UK and international leadership

Sedgwick has announced three changes to its senior leadership team to support its UK operations and international growth strategy.

Chief executive officer of Sedgwick UK, Middle East & Africa, Stewart Steel was appointed chief executive officer of Continental Europe, Middle East & Africa (CEMEA), a newly combined operating division. He will also continue to support the UK business through a new position of chairman of Sedgwick UK.

Steel will be replaced in his present role by Paul White, the current deputy chief executive officer of Sedgwick UK.

The managing director of home claims & liability claim services of Sedgwick UK, Neil Gibson has been appointed chief operations officer, Sedgwick UK.

Sedgwick’s chief executive officer of international operations, Ian Muress said: “The UK clients will continue to benefit from the complementary skills, experience and market reputations of Paul, Stewart and Neil as well as the unrivalled management capability across all business lines.”

“These appointments will further strengthen our high performing UK and European leadership teams as we focus on our strategic growth to support our clients and customers,” he added.
