AXA PPP healthcare launches SME cover

AXA PPP healthcare has launched a product designed for small-to-medium enterprises. Using a mix-and-max approach, Business Health features various possible covers.

Options include: diagnostics only - for scans, diagnostic tests and surgery, plus up to two consultations a year; treatment for hospital/surgical costs and cancer care; out-patient with a range of consultations with a specialist; therapies for physiotherapy, osteopathy or chiropractic treatment; mental health support; travel, dentist and optician cashback and employee assistance programme.

The offering can also be modelled with different benefits for different employees.

Regardless of the cover selections made, membership includes access to various features, such as private GP service Doctor@Hand; Working Body service (telephone access to physiotherapist advice); the Proactive Health Gateway (online support for health goals) and constant access to the health at hand team.

AXA PPP healthcare's director for SME, Paul Moulton said: “Business Health provides advisers with the opportunity to attract new interest from small businesses who might have thought healthcare cover is out of reach.

“It also gives them an opportunity to talk to their SME clients about the value of tailoring health benefits to different parts of the workforce,” he added.

The offering is available to new and switch business and is suitable for groups of up to 250 members.
