Blink Parametric has partnered with Getcover.com, a trading name of Lloyd’s broker Newpoint Insurance Brokers Limited, to launch a suite of online travel insurance products. The products will include parametric cover for flight delay and will be underwritten by Financial and Legal Insurance Company Ltd.

Carl Carter, chief commercial officer at Blink Parametric, said: “We are honoured to work with the [Getcover.com] team as they differentiate their travel insurance proposition within the hyper-competitive UK travel insurance market by providing a real-time flight delay service delivering a cash payment or an airport lounge pass in a traveller’s time of need.”
