The Movo Partnership network has launched a locum service for brokers and appointed representatives, offering members up to two weeks of support annually. It can be used for holidays or to give businesses owners time to cope with life events such as personal bereavement or health issues. The service is offered free as part of membership.

Lea Cheesbrough, managing director of Movo, said: “We know how hard it can be for any small business owner to step away from their business to take a break, particularly for as long as two weeks when you don’t have colleagues you can rely on to manage things properly in your absence.

“And yet taking quality time away from the office is so important for mental wellbeing. Our new locum service makes real holidays and quality time away from work a reality for small brokers.”
