Allianz has appointed Nadia Côté as UK commercial managing director. In this new role, she will be leading the new integrated approach of Allianz Group in its commercial insurance business bringing together Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), and Allianz Holding’s UK commercial business under one strategy and approach.

From 1 May, Côté will report to AGCS CEO Joachim Mueller and Colm Holmes, CEO of Allianz Holdings UK, and lead the new integrated approach between AGCS’ and Allianz UK’s teams in the commercial insurance segment. She also continues to take responsibility for the wider AGCS Regional Unit London including Nordic countries.

With more than 25 years’ experience in corporate insurance, Côté has been with Allianz Group since May 2022 when she joined as regional managing director for London & Nordics with AGCS. She was previously head of major accounts at Chubb Europe and before that was country president for Chubb Europe in France for seven years. She started her insurance career as a financial lines underwriter initially at AIG and later at Chubb.
