Data analytics and technology provider Verisk has acquired broker and MGA software specialist Morning Data. Verisk said the deal would help it enhance its processing and distribution proposition for SME brokers, coverholders, MGAs, captives and re/insurers.

Morning Data will become part of Verisk’s Specialty Business Solutions. Tim Rayner, president of Verisk Specialty Business Solutions, said: “Together we’ll be able to help more coverholders, brokers and carriers reap the benefits of enhanced automation and streamlined workflows.”
