Chris Moat is to take over as chairman of Covéa from Thierry Francq on 1st July. In addition, Adrian Furness (pictured) has stepped down from CEO of Covéa UK and Georges de Macedo has been appointed to the position of CEO of Covéa Insurance with immediate effect.

Francq, who remains on the board, said: “On behalf of the board, I warmly thank Adrian for his commitment and dedication to Covéa. We wish him all the very best for the future. The board of directors and our shareholders are confident that Georges has all the qualities necessary to guide the company going forward and build on its strengths. We wish him every success.”
