Re/insurance broker Miller has reached an agreement with Whitespace to use its e-trading platform in its casualty team. Miller said the move would enhance its ability to create and capture placement data.

Marcus Broome, chief platform officer of Whitespace, said: “Our work with Miller’s MGA sister entity, Casper, has proved highly successful and we look forward to extending our partnership.”

Gordon Bathurst, head of digital broking at Miller, added: “This first step on Whitespace with our casualty team will enable us to trade truly data-first. At Miller, we pride ourselves on our placement capability and innovative approaches.
