Actuarial resource provider APR LLP has joined the British Insurance Brokers’ Association as an associate member. APR LLP focuses on supporting the general insurance market on risk and retail pricing, data analysis and modelling.

James Ockenden, personal lines advisory actuary from APR LLP, said: “This is our first proactive foray into the personal lines market, so we’re really excited to be joining BIBA.

“It is widely acknowledged that data-led decision making is crucial to success of all players within the insurance chain, without it you’re at a huge disadvantage. It therefore makes perfect sense for APR to offer both insurers and brokers a fresh approach to providing actuarial support to the industry.”
