Managing general agent XPT Specialty has expanded its offering to include personal lines. The firm said the move was designed to support small and medium sized retail brokers grow their personal lines portfolio.
Glen Pomeroy, executive VP of personal lines at XPT Specialty, said: “Personal lines brokers are currently facing numerous challenges in the market, such as product scarcity, rate pressure, commission compression, and increased claims frequency and severity to name just a few.
“By offering personal lines, we aim to assist retail brokers in expanding their books of business by providing insurance products that cater to a wide range of personal lines accounts, including preferred, high-value, and specialty risks."
