Europcar Mobility Group UK is growing the size and range of its electric vehicle fleet to help it support the insurance industry with like-for-like replacement vehicles to electric motorists. The firm said it now had more than 160 charging points installed at rental locations across the UK.

James Roberts, business development director, insurance at Europcar, commented, “There is no question that the insurance sector is moving at pace to match the zero emission ambitions of its customers. We are therefore working closely with our partner insurance providers, repair networks and other key players to help them deliver continued customer satisfaction and retention.”
