Machine Learning Programs, which is part of Open GI Group, is parting company with co-founders Tom Murphy and Julian Holloway who will leave the business in December. Damian Baxter will continue as CEO while co-founder Breanndán Ó Nualláin will become chief information and technology officer.

MLP, which offers artificial intelligence services to the UK general insurance and financial markets, has also promoted David Langerveld to the position of director of data science and James Parry to the role of commercial director.

Baxter said: “I’m thrilled to announce David and James’ appointment to the executive leadership team. The expertise and experience they both bring to the team is second to none. It’s a pivotal time for us as more businesses explore ways to combine insurance and data science. I’d also like to take the opportunity to thank Tom and Julian.”
