The British Insurance Brokers’ Association has named Shayne Halfpenny-Ray (pictured) as its new head of policy and public affairs. He will be responsible for key elements of BIBA’s policy, representation and lobbying work that was previously led by BIBA’s CEO, Graeme Trudgill.

Trudgill said: “Shayne has all the right experience and knowledge that we need to further bolster our team.

“I am committed to providing the best operational support and representation for members and I look forward to Shayne joining next month and playing a key role in championing the big issues for brokers.”
