Purbeck Insurance Services has launched a new apprenticeship scheme and is about to begin interviewing candidates with the aim of starting two apprentices in April. The 18-month programme works towards a Level 3 Insurance Practitioner qualification. It will be delivered in partnership with training provider BPP.
Nick Linacre, claims manager at Purbeck Insurance Services, said: “The aim of the scheme is to help candidates achieve a recognised qualification as well as a clear pathway into a long-term, fulfilling career within the business and the wider insurance industry.
He added: “Our new programme is designed to give individuals the opportunity to develop confidence and gain real-world experience, ultimately welcoming them into Purbeck as valued members of the team.”
Purbeck Insurance Services specialises in personal guarantee insurance, which covers directors in the event their business finance provider calls in personal guarantees they have given when raising funds. It is an authorised managing general agent of Markel.
