Managing general agent Crux Underwriting has revamped its broker-facing technology enabling brokers to submit, quote and bind terror risks online via its CruxHub platform, which sits on top of its core underwriting system.
Terror is the first product available through CruxHub with a wind deductible buy down product in the pipeline. Crux says its enhanced platform reduces administration, creates a single view of risk across its book of business and expands its distribution opportunities.
Mike O'Connor, co-founder and chief commercial officer at Crux Underwriting, said: “Terrorism is a high-volume class in an increasingly volatile world. Brokers need speed, simplicity and certainty when placing business.
“The refreshed version of CruxHub helps brokers quote and bind terror risks in minutes while creating the efficiencies needed to support additional and alternative distribution. This launch marks an important milestone in the evolution of CruxHub with further products and capabilities to follow.”
Crux Underwriting became a Lloyd’s coverholder in 2024 and is an appointed representative of DA Strategy Limited.
