Lloyds Banking Group has partnered with Superscript to power its digital business insurance proposition, which it aims to launch before the end of the year. The offering will support the group’s UK business customers through Lloyds Bank and Bank of Scotland.
Superscript’s technology will enable customers to quote and buy a range of commercial insurance products and receive instant proof of cover and make changes to their policy mid-term without administration fees.
Ruchir Rodrigues, MD, business and innovation banking, business and commercial banking at Lloyds Banking Group, said: “Through our partnership with Superscript, we're making it easier and faster for customers to find, compare and purchase the insurance that meets their needs. It's the latest step in our ongoing investment in making banking simpler, smarter and more connected for our customers.”
Tori Butler, managing director of SME insurance at Superscript, added: “By bringing Superscript’s digital insurance experience together with the reach and trusted relationships of Lloyds, we can make insurance simpler and more accessible for more businesses across the UK.”
