Tulsi Naidu is stepping down as Zurich’s CEO in the UK to take over as CEO of Asia Pacific. The news came as part of a wider restructure announcement.
Zurich has not named a replacement to head up its UK business.
The insurer has also created a new Global Business Platforms unit, focused on expanding its digital services worldwide.
Jack Howell, currently CEO of Asia Pacific, will step up to lead the new division in January 2021.
In addition, Ericson Chan will become group chief information and digital officer in October. He joins Zurich from his previous role as CEO of Ping An Technology.
Kathleen Savio, currently CEO of North America, moves into a new role as group chief transformation officer. Kristof Terryn will succeed Savio as CEO of North America.
Laurence Maurice joins Zurich as CEO LatAm, replacing Claudia Dill.

In addition, Zurich has appointed Katja Roth Pellanda as new group general counsel. She joined Zurich from Novartis as deputy group general counsel in April and succeeds Yannick Hausmann, who is leaving after 12 years.
