Lloyd’s broker Ramon International has increased its international footprint by opening an office in Korea to drive its Asian business. The new office comes via the acquisition of a majority stake in Seoul-based CKI Korea. Ramon International was established in 1980 and is a subsidiary of Kastor Holdings Ltd.
Lee Ellis, head of international at Ramon, said: “Korea is one of the most vibrant insurance and reinsurance markets in the world and a powerhouse Asian economy.
