The Association of British Insurers has announced that Chris Bose will join the professional body as director of general insurance and international on 11th August. He joins from Nationwide Building Society where he led the policy and public affairs function.

Hannah Gurga (pictured), director general of the ABI, said: “We look forward to welcoming Chris to the ABI as our new director of general insurance and international. He brings significant policy and government relations experience to the role and will be well-placed to strategically deliver on priority issues for our members.”

Bose added: “I look forward to working with the industry, government and ABI colleagues to champion the excellent work the industry does and deliver for members.”
