International consulting firm BRG has launched its first business insurance claims practice and has appointed Richard Cameron-Williams as head of business insurance claims. The practice will serve the EMEA region and is the first time BRG has moved beyond its domestic US market.
The practice will offer support on business interruption claims for policyholders across multiple industries. It will offer litigation guidance and forensic accounting support for issues such as loss of profits, breach of contract, public procurement disputes, business valuations and fraud investigations.
Cameron-Williams said: “I’m delighted to be launching the firm’s business insurance claims practice in EMEA, particularly during this exciting period of expansion for the business. I truly believe we’ll bring a unique proposition to the regional market, combining the firm’s global reach and expertise and my position as an independent expert.”
BRG said the move was part of an ongoing ambition to grow the firm globally. It currently employs more than 50 people in the US focused on quantifying losses for insurance purposes.
