HW Kaufman Group is consolidating its brands in the UK into Burns and Wilcox for its broking businesses, and RB Jones, which will feature the company’s underwriting units.

Kaufman will launch Burns and Wilcox Global Solutions, a new business unit that will include a non-marine group, formerly known as Chesterfield Insurance Brokers; and a marine group that will operate as Lochain Patrick, a division of Burns & Wilcox Global Solutions.

Burns and Wilcox UK, Kaufman’s underwriting business, will be rebranded to RB Jones UK. The company provides cover across specialty, health, hospitality, logistics, PI, retail, sports and leisure, and terrorism.

Node International, Kaufman’s specialist digital and cyber MGA, will trade as RB Jones Digital, harnessing the company’s underwriting expertise to deliver a broader offering of digital risk solutions.

Leaders of each business unit in the UK, MENA and Europe will report into Paul Greensmith, CEO of HW Kaufman Group International. Additionally, Burns and Wilcox Global Solutions and RB Jones have moved into a new office in The Gherkin, ensuring proximity to Lloyd’s of London as well as its key trading partners.
