Law firm Weightmans has teamed up with data analytics and technology specialist Verisk to strengthen its Fraud Rely platform, which now combines Weightman’s fraud data and legal expertise with Verisk's anti-fraud technology.

The platform enables insurers to spot suspicious activity, highlight connections between fraudsters and to pinpoint investigative resources to deliver the best results.

Chris Sawford, managing director, general insurance UK and Ireland at Verisk, said: “Fraud is becoming more complex and connected, which makes early visibility increasingly important.
