The Independent Garage Association has launched RMI Insurance Services, which is a new independent broker aimed at supporting motor trade clients and owned by the Retail Motor Industry Federation. The broker will begin trading on 15th September. It will offer exclusive terms for members.

Stuart James, CEO of the IGA, said: “RMI Insurance Services represents a major step forward in the support we provide to our members and the wider industry. By bringing this vital service under our umbrella, we have created a broker shaped by decades of automotive experience that’s built with the sole purpose of protecting our sector.”

He added: “We have secured a range of enhanced covers to be included as standard, together with rates significantly lower than insurers standard open market rates, ensuring members receive outstanding value alongside expert, independent advice.”
