Motor insurance specialist AND-E, which is part of the Japanese insurance business MS&AD Group, has announced plans to increase the headcount at its claims centre in Newcastle by 30%. The centre handles claims for brands including Toyota, Lexus, and Kwik Fit.

Greg Cole, UK claims director at AND-E, said: “Our specialist teams handle all aspects of claims management – from initial loss notifications and vehicle repair assessments to fraud investigation, bodily injury, and liability decisions. From emergency services and charities to hospital trusts and construction fleets, the claims we manage cover a broad spectrum of organisations and vehicles, making these roles both diverse and rewarding.”

AND-E currently employs more than 400 people across its operations in Newcastle. It has been part of the local business community for more than 15 years, originally as telematics specialist insurethebox, which was acquired by MS&AD in 2018.
