Electric vehicle manufacturer BYD has named insurtech bolttech as its preferred partner for embedded insurance in its primary European markets. The partnership is already live in the UK and Italy, France, Germany and Spain will follow this year.

Under the terms of the deal, bolttech will offer customers motor insurance packages from a panel of insurers during the vehicle purchasing and financing process.

Through this partnership, customers will have easier access to motor insurance embedded seamlessly into their car purchase journey, ensuring they have comprehensive EV protection from the moment they drive their car home.”
