Price comparison platform GoCompare has launched a ChatGPT app to enable customers to search and compare deals from car, van and home insurance providers. GoCompare says the new app returns quotes faster and customers can then edit and re-run quotes as needed.

Lee Griffin, chief executive of GoCompare, said: “Integrating GoCompare with ChatGPT is an exciting step into AI and provides a new way for customers to find our service.”

He added: “We know that speed is key; no one wants to spend more time than they have to on shopping for insurance, but this should never come at a price where cover is compromised.

“By launching a ChatGPT app, we are meeting customers where they are – and we will always do this in a way that protects their interests when it comes to finding the right insurance cover.”
