Zurich offers modular SME cover via Acturis

Zurich UK has responded to broker feedback and enhanced its SME e-trade commercial combined proposition on Acturis to enable brokers to select up to 15 different covers under one policy. Zurich says this modular approach to building policies creates more flexibility for brokers and allows them to better match their client’s risk to the policy purchased.

The carrier first launched its e-trade commercial combined proposition on Zurich Online in 2019. The modular approach means Zurich assesses trade risks on the cover requested and says this makes around 200 additional trades available for brokers.

The user journey has also been streamlined and Zurich points out that brokers can now secure quotes without the need to declare a premise.

Nikki Lidster, head of SME trading at Zurich UK, said: “The enhancements made to our SME e-trade commercial combined offering are all about giving brokers more control and flexibility on how they trade with us, on whatever platform they choose to do so, whilst making sure that the trading experience is as simple and efficient as possible for brokers to access the right cover for their clients.”

She added: “For us, it was crucial to design a policy that our brokers could easily modify and work flexibly to meet the needs of their clients whilst not increasing the operational burden for our broker partners.”
