Aviva will rebrand its Lloyd’s platform Probitas 1492 to Aviva Syndicates. The new branding will be in place by the end of September and will act as a significant step in the business’s integration into Aviva’s global corporate and specialty division.

Aviva acquired Probitas Holdings (Bermuda) Limited for a consideration of £249m in 2024. It operates in classes including: casualty, construction, crisis management, cyber and technology, financial lines, marine, renewable energy and property.

“We’ve already combined our teams and capabilities and are now seeing the benefits of trading as one platform. Aviva Syndicates will sharpen our presence in the Lloyd’s market and makes it easier for brokers and clients to access the full strength of our underwriting, risk expertise and global reach.”
