Re/insurance broker BMS has confirmed it will relocate its London headquarters to 30 St Mary Axe – The Gherkin – from its existing location at One America Square. The move takes effect from 1st September.

BMS says its new offices are spread over four floors and will reaffirm its commitment to the London insurance market and bring its team closer to clients while affording space for growth.

Ian Gormley, UK CEO at BMS, said: "The Gherkin is a building that means something in this market. Being in the heart of the City, steps from the insurance market, is exactly where a firm like ours should be. We have designed the space around our people and our clients, and I look forward to seeing the team make it their own."

Gormley was named UK CEO in 2022, having been with the business since 2012.
