Markel has developed a new e-trade broker portal for brokers – Markel Hub – which it says will make it faster and easier for brokers to trade with it. The hub gives brokers access to quotations, renewals, mid-term adjustments, client management and claims across Markel’s range of products.

In addition, Markel says the hub gives brokers access to its business hub, which provides legal and HR templates as well as guidance and practical resources. Previously, the business hub was only available to policyholders and Markel hopes that opening it up to brokers will help them add value to their clients beyond insurance placement.
