Marco Capital, which is the parent of PoloWorks, has inked a deal to acquire insurance services provider Pro Global, subject to regulatory approval. Following the deal, Marco Capital says it will combine PoloWorks and Pro Global to create what it suggests will be one of the industry’s largest specialist insurance services providers.
Pro Global supports insurers, brokers, reinsurers, MGAs and delegated business providers
across underwriting, claims, audit, broker operations, finance and delegated authority activity.
PoloWorks has four divisions. They are Polo Managing Agency, which is a Lloyd's managing agency. Polo Commercial Insurance Services, which is an outsourced services provider to Lloyd’s and the London Market. Polo Insurance Managers, which supports captive, commercial and insurance-linked securities clients and PoloPartners, which is a joint venture with PwC delivering technology enabled services to insurance clients.
Simon Minshall, group CEO of Marco Capital Group, said: “Our objective is simple, to provide clients with the highest quality specialist insurance services. Pro Global is a natural strategic fit, bringing an impressive team, highly complementary capabilities and a strong international footprint.
“The combination creates a stronger proposition for clients, broader opportunities for our colleagues and a platform with the scale to continue investing in technology, innovation and operational excellence."
