Arag UK has reported total income of £244m for the 2025. This is the first time its has included results from DAS UK, which Arag Group acquired at the beginning of January 2024. The figures show Arag’s UK legal expenses insurance operations made a loss of £4.1m in 2025, an improvement on the loss of £5.5m recorded in the previous year.

It says the losses were driven by the ongoing costs of integrating DAS UK’s operations and bringing the companies together at a single location in Bristol.

Arag UK says it provides legal expenses insurance to more than 10 million families and approximately 2 million businesses in the UK.

David Haynes, CEO of Arag UK, said: “2025 marked another milestone for ARAG, as we continue to build on the strong foundations that we have established over the past 20 years. We now contribute more than €250m in income to the international group, making the UK business Arag’s most significant operation outside Germany.”

He added: “Arag already protects millions of families and businesses, throughout the UK, but we will always work with partners, agencies and charities to close the gaps in our justice system. Our continued growth underscores the success of our strategy and I have been especially impressed by the way our people have worked together on the numerous projects that the significant acquisition inevitably entailed, without allowing it to disrupt the ongoing expansion of our business.”
