The Insurance Institute of London has announced the election of Ken Norgrove as its new President for 2026-27.

Norgrove has four decades of experience in senior insurance industry roles and has spent most of his career at Intact Insurance. Before becoming CEO, he led RSA Scandinavia from 2019 until the acquisition of RSA by Intact Financial Corporation in June 2021. He was previously CEO of RSA Ireland from 2014 to 2019.

He is currently ABI deputy president and board member, Pool Re board member, and fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute UK. He is a former president of Insurance Ireland and the Insurance Institute of Ireland.

Norgrove said: “As I look ahead to the year, I’m excited by the opportunity to work with members across the Institute to support the development of our profession. In a world of constant change, resilience remains one of our greatest strengths, and by continuing to learn, adapt and support one another, I am confident we can help our industry and clients navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead.”
