Hybrid insurer Bridgehaven Europe Specialty DAC has signed a capacity deal with managing general agent Arrow Risk Management GMBH. Arrow has a focus on underwriting risks associated with technology products and services, providing global technology errors and omissions coverage on either a standalone or combined basis.
The deal follows Bridgehaven’s acquisition of Dublin-based SureStone in 2025 and highlights its ambitions to expand its UK footprint. The capacity agreement with Arrow builds on its existing relationship in the UK.
Paul Jewell, CEO for Bridgehaven UK, said: “This European capacity deal marks an exciting milestone as we build a leading presence in the European delegated underwriting market. It demonstrates our ability to support MGAs writing European business, offering seamless access to the EU through a robust risk-taking platform backed by aligned reinsurance capital.
“Our ambition is clear: to become the partner of choice for MGAs seeking sustainable, long-term growth across Europe.”
Graeme King, underwriting practice leader of Arrow, added: “We are delighted to strengthen our partnership with Bridgehaven as we expand into Europe. Their hybrid model combined with a strong alignment of underwriting expertise with committed capital makes them an ideal partner for our next phase of growth.”
